Quizizz

Today we went to the computers room to play Quizizz.

It was a quiz with questions about present continuous and it had a ranking with the students' answers. They got very excited playing!

Envelopes game

This is an activity that works great and students love it. They have envelopes with sentences to order, next they should write them in the notebook.

It is a good resource to practice grammar.

Actions in the school project

Students of 2nd primary did these project using the vocabulary we learnt in class.

School actions: dice writing

It is a very funny game to practise writing. Children throw the dice and according to the number they write a word. The first completing the six words is the winner!

Project at school

The students of 2nd of primary do these wonderful projects to review the structure can/can't and the vocabulary of unit 2.

Stations: actions in the school

Stations are a good resource to encourage pupils' autonomy and a funny way to practise vocabulary and grammar. Today there are 4 stations:

• Actions memory game

• Places in the school memory game

• Wordsearch 

• Writing sentences on the whiteboard

Can / Can't

Today we practise writing in 2nd grade. On the blackboard I put some flashcards and they write a sentence in  the whiteboard. To finish the lesson we watch these videos.

Speaking vocabulary games

Today we take advantage of our speaking auxiliary, Francesca, to play speaking games and practise new vocabulary.
We divide the class in two groups: with me they play vocabulary games in the digital board and with Francesca they play speaking games with flashcards.

We are very happy to have Francesca with us! 😊
